Dear Editor, Once again a controversy has erupted on the existence of the mythical Himalayan monster. This time it is due to the Army’s claim of spotting its footprints. Earlier also, many people have claimed to have seen this creature, but without any conclusive evidence. The scientific community has rejected this claim outright It’s strange that the Indian Army, in which people have so much confidence, should have made such an unsubstantiated claim. BS Kakkar, Jalandhar.
