STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Ajay Kumar Sadhotra, former Minister and senior NC leader congratulated countrymen in general and Sikh brethren in particular on 550th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev. He said that teachings of Guru Nanak are still very relevant. Guru Nanak Dev was not Guru of Sikhs only, but people of other religions also respect Guru Nanak Dev and follow his teachings, he added. Sadhotra said, “Guru Nanak Dev preached oneness respect to humanity and peace.” He reiterated that teachings of Guru Nanak Dev are still very relevant for development and peace of the country. He appealed to all the communities to follow preaching of Guru Nanak Dev in order to strengthen communal brotherhood and peace. Communal brotherhood and peace is imperative for development and strengthening our great nation, he added.
