JAMMU: Vishwa Bharati Public Senior Secondary School Udheywalla organised Summer Camp which concluded on Thursday.
About 100 students from the school participated in the various activities like art and craft, music, dance and games, etc.
Students were also taken for outing to Reasi and Bagh-e- Bahu under summer camp activities.
The objective of the camp was to enhance the knowledge of students and to make them fit enough to face the challenges of the world order.
Closing ceremony of Summer Camp was held in the school auditorium wherein the items prepared by kids were displayed.
The programme commenced with Shiv Vandana which was followed by welcome address by School Principal Annapurna Koul.
Shrada Bhat (Department of Computer Science) highlighted the events held during these 10 days.
Prof. Gopi Krishen Mujoo, Managing Director was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Priya Kapoor and Saif Bhatti Assistant Manager, Himayaat, were the Guests of Honour.
The students who participated in the summer camp were awarded with trophies and certificates by the Chief Guest.
Dr. S.K. Koul, Secretary Vishwa Bharati threw light on the importance of the organising such camps in the school for the overall growth and development of the students’ personality.
He also encouraged the staff and students for their efforts in making the event a successful one.
The programme was anchored by Anita Sharma (Department of Sanskrit) and concluded with vote of thanks by Sameer Bhat (Department of Physics).
