State Times News KATHUA: Police on Wednesday solved a theft case by arresting a person and recovered stolen mobile worth over Rs 25,000 at Chadwal. Reports said that a complaint to this effect has been received from Nek Ram, son of Said Dass resident of Chann Ranga Tehsil Hiranagar Kathua about theft incident in his shop at Chadwal in the intervening night of April 22-23, 2019. Police instantly registered case vide FIR No 73/2019 under section 457/380 RPC and swung into action. During the course of investigation and based on gathered information, police team arrested the thief namely Shorat Sharma, son of Onkar Nath, resident of Ladhwal Marheen Kathua and on his disclosure, police recovered stolen mobile OPPO F9 pro worth Rs 25,990.
