STATE TIMES NEWS BHADARWAH: With an aim to empower women folk especially residing in far-off and remote areas, Army’s Rashtriya Rifles (RR) based at Bhadarwah organised six weeks ‘Stitching and Tailoring training for women at Bhadarwah, which concluded here with distribution of certificates. On the closing ceremony, Commanding Officer(CO) 4 RR was the Chief Guest. Twenty-two women from socially and economically backward strata of society get proper training regarding basics of ‘Stitching and Tailoring, which will help them to generate employment opportunities. Speaking on the occasion, Commanding Officer, 4 Rashtirya Rifles (BIHAR) said that the small scale industrialisation is the order of the day for development in Bhadarwah and Stitching and Tailoring training is a pioneer effort towards this end to generate some employment opportunities for women in near future. On the occasion, accreditation certificate in basic Tailoring was presented to participants from Softek Institute of Information Technology (SIIT) on successful completion of the training. Beside one sewing machine to each beneficiary was handed over by Commanding Officer, 4 RR (BIHAR).
