STATE TIMES NEWS KATHUA: SPS PTS Kathua celebrated Raksha Bandhan with children of Indian Public School, Kidzee Kathua. The 29 children from class 1st to 11th standard visited PTS Kathua under the supervision of Ms. Charu Andotra, Principal Indian Public School, Kathua along with class teachers/coordinators. On this occasion the school children tied Rakhis to the wrists of officers, staff and trainees of SPS PTS Kathua and prayed for their health, prosperity and well-being. The school children and staff provided light refreshment and gifts. While speaking on the occasion Arun Gupta, (SSP) Principal SPS PTS Kathua emphasized that the significance of Rakhi goes beyond the bounds of family and symbolizes the bond of love, protection and brotherhood. He further stated that it inspires us to fulfill our responsibilities towards the society, protect our culture and tradition and promote an atmosphere of universal brotherhood. The event also provide opportunity to Kashmir based trainees to witness the attributes of composite culture. On this occasion Randheer Singh, (SSP) CO IRP 19th Bn, Satish Kumar, CPO AP(Indoor), Gurmeet Singh, Dy.SP AP(Admn), Girdhari Lal, Dy.SP (Estates/Security), Sukhdev Singh,Dy.SP AP (Outdoor), Jaipal Singh, SrPO, Inspr. Sanjeev Kumar, RI, Inspr. Pawan Parihar, CDI, Inspr. Jagjeet Singh, LO, SI Ajay Kumar, I/C Trainees Mess and other officers/officials of PTS Kathua were also present.
