STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Ambedkar Gupta, the newly elected General Secretary of Karate Association of India (KAI) was welcomed at Jammu by the sporting community. Ambedkar Gupta returned to Jammu after attending first governing body meeting of KAI at Guwahati. He was elected unopposed as General Secretary of KAI by Returning Officer, (retired) Justice Rekha Sharma of High Court Delhi in an election held at New Delhi. Anil Gupta Chairman of Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir (AKAJK), Ranjeet Kalra, Sport’s Administrator and Advisor for Sport, Government of Lakshadweep, Siddhant Choudhary, Managing Director Ramada, Senior Advocate Leelakaran Sharma, Advocate Vishal Sharma (Joint Secretary AKAJK), Rahil Gupta (Vice President AKAJK) and Nazir Ahmed Bhat felicitated Ambedkar Gupta. Players present were Nikhil Singh Rajput, Abhijeet Singh Chib, Sahil Singh Langeh, Rajat Singh Manhas, Saurav Mehra, Deepika Chauhan, Deepa Sharma, Tushar Jandial, Anup Singh, Muskan Bashir, Mehak Bashir, Sunil Kumar and Harshpal Singh.
