STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Govt SPMR College of Commerce and Government College for Women (GCW) Gandhi Nagar won respective men and women trophies of the Inter-college Table Tennis Tournament of Cluster University of Jammu organised in Government College of Education (GC0E), Canal Road, here. Dr. Sangita Nagari, Principal of GCoE was the Chief Guest and Prof. Mushtaq Ahmed Lone, Dean Faculty of Education of Cluster University of Jammu was Guest of Honour. In women section, final match was won by GCW, Gandhi Nagar by beating GCoE by 3-0. In 1st match Muskan Kour of GCW, Gandhi Nagar beat Sonia Sharma by 11-3,11-4 while in second, Sakshi defeated Shahar Bano by 11-7, 11-4 and in third match Nelofar beat Himalaya Kour by 11-6, 11-5. In men final, SPMR College of Commerce beat MAM College by 3-0. In first match Ritvik Gupta beat Nakul Vaid by 11-3, 11-6. In second match Mandeep Singh defeated Wazid Ali by 11-3, 11-3 and in third match Adhiraj Singh outplayed Ranchit by 11-6, 11-5. The tournament was organised under the overall supervision of Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Sports Co-coordinator Cluster University of Jammu. Prof. Raj Singh, Prof Satish Sharma, Prof Mohd Zubair, Prof. Baljinder Kour, Prof. Kashab Sharma, Prof. Seema Kumari, Prof Shapia Shameen, Prof Rukhsana Kousar, Prof. Neeraj Verma, Prof. Purnima Manhas, Malik Aijaz Physical Director Commerce College and Rupali Salathia Physical Director GCW Gandhi Nagar were also present on the occasion.
