SRINAGAR: V.K Singh, Special DGP Hqrs, PHQ, J&K, Srinagar accompanied by Vijaya Singh, Member PWWA and Shriram Dinkar Ambarkar, SP Kupwara visited the house of Martyr SgCt Ghulam Rasool at Village Gagal Lolab, district Kupwara, who attained martyrdom during terrorists attack at New District Court Complex Guard Pulwama.
The Special DGP extended deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on behalf of DGP J&K. He assured every kind of assistance to the family.
The Special DGP while hailing the supreme sacrifice of the martyr assured the family that whole Police Department is with them in this hour of grief. He assured the family that the amount of ex-gratia relief will be paid to the family as soon as legal formalities are completed.
SP Kupwara was advised to get the paper work done at the earliest.
Vijaya Singh met Halima Begum widow of the Martyr, her two minor sons and daughter and offered condolences.
Meanwhile, A.K Choudhary, ADGP Armed, J&K visited the residence of martyred Constable Gh Mohammad at Wahlitra Rafiabad to extend deepest sympathies with the bereaved family. He assured the family that every possible assistance will be provided to the next of kins of the late constable.
ADGP was accompanied by DIG NKR, Sunil Gupta and SSP Sopore, Javaid Iqbal Mir.
