STATE TIMES NEWSBHADARWAH: District Social Welfare Department, Doda Wednesday organised an awareness camp here at llaqa Athkhar in Panchayat Sartingal of block Bhaderwah. Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah, Rakesh Kumar was the chief guest at the camp organized under the supervision of District Social Welfare Officer Doda, Zubair Ahmed. The camp was organized to aware the local public and those of the adjoining Panchayats of Nalthi, Sungli, Buttla, Katyara, Bhejja and Thanalla about the Social welfare schemes meant for weaker sections, besides helping aged, infirm, differently abled and destitute Women of the area to avail the benefits of schemes by providing them services at their doorsteps. Social Welfare Officer Bhadarwah, Subash Kotwal highlighted schemes of department. Sarpanchs of the area also spoke on the occasion. Additional Deputy Commissioner assured the public of the panchyats that all their genuine issues will be addressed in a time bound manner. Others present at the awareness camp were Vabhau Sharma Advocate representing District Legal Services Authority Bhadarwah, Sarpanchs, Irshad Ahmed; Parveen Kumar; Mohd Yasir; Shakoor Ahmed and Raju Dar, besides Naib Sarpanchs, Panchs and AWWs.
