Roller Athlete Club collecting donations at MA Stadium, Jammu on Saturday.
JAMMU: Roller Athlete Skating Club Jindrah on Saturday collected funds within MA Stadium for contribution to the Prime Minister’s Relief fund for flood victims of Jammu and Kashmir.
Led by the senior skaters and office bearers of the Club, young skaters asked for donation to the practicing players and their coaches at various coaching centers around the Stadium, this afternoon.
“The sole motive behind this collection was to show our solidarity with those affected by the floods around the state. As also to involve those associated with sports in extending a helping hand to our fellow citizens in the hour of crisis,” international skater and member of the Club, Aryavir Singh told.
After covering all the sports venues, the Club may also approach the general public to make it a big amount for donation.
