JAMMU: Kashmir Sikh Sangat is going to organise 18th Annual Convention on March 16 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Polytechnic Auditorium, Bikram Chowk wherein all the delegates are participating.
This was stated by President Kashmir Sikh Sangat, Sewa Singh in a press conference here on Tuesday.
Hitting out at successive governments, he said that the Sikh community has been ignored completely by present and previous governments in matters of employment.
He demanded inclusion of Sikh community living in Kashmir Valley in the PM’s Employment Package, 3 per cent reservation in government jobs, constitution of State Minority Commission, implementation of Anand Marriage Act, Sikh representative in State cabinet and Legislative Assembly and Punjabi language be made compulsory right from the primary classes.
Gurucharan Singh, Harbajan Singh, Baboo Singh and Manjeet Singh were also present in the press conference.
