STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: CMD Productions in association with AB Films on Friday released a short film entitled ‘Aaina Samaaj Ka -Hamari Betiyan’ at a function held here. The short film was an engrossing fact about the traditional ritual of female foeticide which a father does not allows and somehow manages to take the new born daughter from the prying eyes of the family and makes his escape good. Father instead of killing the daughter sends her to orphanage, but keeping an eye on the growth of the child who is a studious girl and rises to the position of an IAS officer. The girl who always finds a suspicious person following her throughout her life turning to be her father makes her proud of him. The film was written by Rajeshwar Singh Raju and produced by Suman Kesar. The cast and credits include Dharun Kesar DK, Namarta Gupta, Rekha Sharma, Bablu Sharma, Kavita Khajuria, Gurmeet Singh, Ambica Puri, Abhishek Baru, Pawan Kumar, Tinku Kumar, Sunny Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Lucky and Arya. Based on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, the short film was edited by Neeraj Badyal, while assisted in direction by Tarun Sharma and Sandeep Sharma. The Executive Producer of the Film is Shilakha Sharma. Make up by Pintu and Camera by Ashish Sharma. Song composition was done by Gautam Ganesh while the voice was rendered by Sushma Rajput. The film was supported by Sushma Rajput and Bablu Sharma. The film was directed through the ace hands of Aaditya Bhanu, who has earlier also made some impacting short films like ‘Aik Ruki Hui Justju’ and ‘Aakhir Kab Tak’.
