SUNDERBANI: The Shiv Sena activists led by District President Pishori Lal Sharma held a protest against SHO Dharamsal for not taking cognisance of the crime and not arresting the accused persons even after registering FIR 70/2017 under section 341/323/504/34 RPC on the directions of Court.
According to Shiv Sena a youth identified as Naresh Kumar was attacked by four criminals namely Joginder Paul son of Balak Ram, Deepak Kumar and Pankaj Kumar both sons of Ashok Kumar and Rattan Lal son of Netar Parkash on 1st August, 2017 and was seriously injured and admitted in Sub District Hospital Sunderbani but due to his critical condition he was referred to Government Medical College Hospital (GMCH) Jammu. Since the SHO Dharamsal did not register the case in spite of a regular complaint, the Sunderbani Court was approached which passed directions for registration of FIR and accordingly FIR 70/2017 has been registered on 17th August 2017against the accused but no arrest was made for the last 28 days for the reasons best known to SHO Dharamsal, Shiv Sena said. Shiv Sena President said that the victim is admitted in the Sunderbani Hospital because of the injuries and his condition is deteriorating day by day. On the other hand the victim is receiving threats to withdraw the case, he added.
Pishori Lal appealed to the SSP Rajouri to take suitable action in this case to provide security and justice to the victim Naresh Kumar. Pishori Lal Said that he had also spoken to SSP Rajouri on phone on Wednesday.
Prominent among others present in the protest included District Chairman Rakesh Sunden, Block president of Shiv Sena Yashpaul seth, Girdari Lal, Anil Lakhpaul and Suresh Chander.
