State Times News RAJOURI: Sewa Bharti celebrated first anniversary of Daksh Hostel at Dassal on Sunday. MLC Vibodh Gupta was the Chief Guest on this occasion whereas Rajiv Khajuria, (Member selection cum oversight committee, J&K JJ Act) and Pranav Gupta (DySP Operations) were guest of honour. Daksh hostel currently has 22 students from poor families of border belt and Sewa Bharti is taking care of these students. Hostel is run on donations from general public. In the well organized function which was attended by around 300 persons, students of the hostel presented various cultural and literary items. MLC vibodh Gupta congratulated the whole team of Sewa Bharti for raising the infrastructure of hostel in short duration of time. He also assured his full support in running the hostel. Rajiv Khajuria also appreciated the management of hostel and congratulated them for putting up a model which is inspiration for other NGOs.Mr Rajesh Banti,distt president presented vote of thanks and apprised audience about different projects run by sewa bharti Rajouri including a new hostel that is coming up in Kheora, ambulance service, tution centres, sewing centres etc. He thanked general public for their donations and assured them of using every penny donated to best of use. Dr Anil Manhas, State President Sewa Bharti J&K, also congratulated district team for their efforts in running different projects and serving of masses. Subash Sharma (Retd ADDC), Rajinder Gupta (Ex chairman MC Rajouri), Kewal Sharma (Sarpanch), Vinod Gupta, Sadiq, Nikhil Gupta and many others were present on this occasion.
