POONCH: A long period of seven years has lapsed but a five kilometer Qasba-Kirni PMGSY road could not be completed which forced the locals to hold massive protest under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Insaaf Movement lead by Javid Iqbal Reshi, Chairman of the Movement at Qasba against government and PMGSY.
Speaking on the occasion Reshi said that earth work of the said road was started in 2010 which is incomplete till now due to the alleged negligence of Pardhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna (PMGSY) official and crore of rupees funds have been embezzled by the unholy nexus of officials with contractor. He condemned all anti public policies of State and Union Government in which government is ignoring the common masses. Reshi further criticised government and said monsoon has come and water from Nalahs and drains has entered the houses. The locals of Qasba including Sayad Shakil Hussain, member Panchayat Shokat Hussain, Chowkidar Mohd Sageer, member Panchayat Khurshid Hussain, Sayad Zahoor Hussain Shah, Razia Begum and others participated in the protest.
