STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: District Congress Committee, Jammu Rural, President, Hari Singh Chib said that that true, selfless service to the mankind without any personal, material or vested interest is a service to God. He said the path to enlightenment is in one’s actions and if actions are based on truth and justice they are likely to take a person nearer to God. Chib said this while attending a largely attended congregation at Suman Devi Mataji Garh Wali in Raipur Domana Assembly here on Monday, said that spiritualism can lead to peace of mind and calm the turbulent minds in the material world of today which will in turn pave way for a societal renaissance. Senior Congress leader said all religions show different paths to reach the Almighty but all preach love, affection, care and selfless service. He said society must rise above caste considerations and work together for the upliftment and well being of all, particularly those who are poor, downtrodden and backward. He said those who preach hatred in the name of religion are devils, who do not understand religion and Godliness. While paying obeisance to Mata ji, Chib said that she is an epitome of societal reforms and humanity. He said Mata Ji is working tirelessly to create a world where all are equal and where love is the only bond of relationship between different human beings. Chib said the teachings of Mata ji are inspiring the people and will help in transforming the society, making it conducive for various communities, irrespective of caste, creed and colour. He urged the devotees, present in the congregation, to spread the message of love, peace and compassion. This, he said, is imperative for national integration and promoting inclusiveness across the country and the J&K. Lauding the efforts of Mata ji in enlightening the society, Chib hoped that this will help in building harmonious society based on love, amity, equality and justice to all.
