STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: A Division Bench (DB) of State High Court comprising Chief Justice Gita Mittal and Justice Tashi Rabstan on Monday directed respondents to file compliance report with regard to bench’s order dated January 29, 2019 in the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by Sumit Nayyar regarding security of High Court Jammu Division as well as District Court Jammu. Earlier, the DB observed that compliance report in terms of aforesaid order has not been filed. DB further directed to file a report regarding the details of the vehicles which have been towed away on account of illegal and unauthorised parking before the next date of hearing. It is pertinent to mention here that on January 29, 2019, Division Bench directed Traffic Police to strictly ensure that all roads leading to the court as well as the circulation areas within the court are kept free from any obstruction, permanent or temporary, which would include unauthorized and illegal parking by any person or authority.
