STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: The Senior Citizens Club Udhampur (SCCU) advised its members and urged senior citizens to stay indoors as precautionary measures of coronavirus as old aged persons have serious complications if they get COVID-19. They were advised to limit their access to buying essentialities and should obtain the services of the volunteers earmarked by the administration ward wise. Geriatricians have recommended to their patients to adhere to instructions issued by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and world health organizations (WHO) to strictly follow the instructions of maintaining social and personal hygiene. The executive/advisory bodies of the Club have requested its members to stay connected through cell phones and WhatSapp group and should be helpful to one and each other if any member require any help. They must continue their Yoga activities and indoor exercises in their homes and aware the people to stay at home. Their preventive measures will inspire the younger generation in this hour of need.
