STATE TIMES NEWS NEW DELHI: The leaders and activists of Shri Amarnath Yatra Welfare Society (SAYWS) led by its National General Secretary Raju took out a candle light march at Jantar Mantar New Delhi to express solidarity with the victims of the recent Amarnath Yatra massacre. The rally was organised by Shri Amarnath Yatra Welfare Society -Delhi at Jantar Mantar in which various RSS and BJP leaders and activists were participated in the rally to express solidarity with the victims of the recent Amarnath Yatra massacre. Chandel, while addressing the media persons, said that our society unequivocally condemn the attack on unarmed pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Yatra carried out recently. The human rights brigade stands exposed and so does their morbid fascination for radicalisation in the Valley. Thus the veracity of their narrative must be questioned.” He added “It is time that the facade of Kashmiryat is exposed and said, “GoI should give befitting reply to Pakistan and China responsible for unrest in Kashmir valley and continuous ceasefire violations on LoC and IB in J&K.” He further said that instead of appeasing separatists in Kashmir, the government should approach world forum to pressurise Pakistan to hand over Pakistan Occupied Kashmir to India. “Mere condemnation won’t suffice, the government must ensure that the radical forces are completely uprooted and peace reinstated in the State. As a measure of protection, national highway NH1A should be under the overall supervision of the Army,” Delhi BJP Spokesperson Naveen Kumar demanded. National Adviser Dr Sameer Kaul further said, “The Hindus in Kashmir have always been targeted for their religion and the recent attack on Amarnath Yatris is not an attack on Hindu pilgrims, but entire India has been attacked for practicing their religion.” The leaders also condemned the brutal attack on Amarnath pilgrims and demanded from the State and Central governments to arrest the culprits and take stern action against the elements behind the incident. Meanwhile, National Adviser Dr Sameer Kaul, Deepak Tawar, Balmiki, Delhi BJP Spokesperson Naveen Kumar, Karmveer Singh, Pehlad Chowdhary and Manoj Chandel extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of those who have sustained injuries in the accident and asked the State administration to provide every assistance required to the injured and the bereaved families.
