STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: “It is really difficult to love a Satguru because he is not connected to us in the worldly way,” revealed Madhu Param Hans Maharaj, the spiritual head of Sahib Bandgi Panth, while addressing a grand spiritual Satsang in connection with Guru Purnima, in the Government School Satwari Ground, here on Sunday. The devotees in large number gathered there to listen to the sermons of Madhu Param Hans Maharaj. After the Satsang a Bhandara was organised. “True love is the life of devotion and also the very essence of worship. Without love it is not possible to attain God,” Madhu Param Hans said. Elaborating it, he said, “We love our parents because it is they who gave us birth. We love our children because they are a part of us.” He added that love for a Satguru demands a feeling and realisation in mind that he has blessed us with a matchless thing that no one in the entire Brahmand can give. “When we give place to such like feeling and true devotion for the Satguru, the love for the Satguru will automatically flourish,” Madhu Param Hans said and added, “In this world only a Satguru can give you the true love. Love elsewhere and in any form is nothing but deception.” “Munn creates hurdles in the path of true love. Munn has cleverly polluted the true virtues of love, pleasure, devotion and the like. The virtue of love is present in every one but all of us have diverted it to our parents, brothers, sisters, wives and children. The need is to divert this love towards the Satguru,” he said. “Those who have true love for Satguru and recite the holy Naam keeping their concentration fixed at the Satguru, succeed in crossing the worldly ocean,” he added.
