STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Following his routine of visiting different areas of Jammu West Assembly segment, the former State President BJP and ex-Minister, Sat Sharma on Friday visited Shanti Nagar area of ward 35 and interacted with inhabitants. The former minister was accompanied by Corporator ward 35 Yash Pal Sharma Mantoo, District President Ayodhya Gupta, State Secretary and Incharge Jammu West, Praduman Singh besides other political activists of the area. During the visit, Sat interacted with many people and listened to their grievances. Sat Sharma said that the main motive of his visit was to check ongoing development works in the ward and to interact with inhabitants. The residents, with whom I interacted, gave a positive response concerning development works done in area, he informed. Sat further said there were so many pending demands in the area, which were completed during his tenure as MLA and grievances were resolved from time to time in order to avoid public distress. He stated that people were facing a lots of problems due to laying of sewerage lines as lanes were torn out, but now works for black-topping of lanes are in progress, which will give a major relief to inhabitants. He further stated there were leakages in water pipes as well for which necessary directions have been issued to concerned officials for resolving the issue as soon as possible. JE ERA Ravi Salgotra, District General Secretary Munish Khajuria, Raveesh Mengi, Sanchet Sharma, Sanjay Bhat, Yash Pal Gupta, Kuldeep Singh, Thodu Ram, Sandesh Dogra, Harbans Lal, Mohinder Singh, Rakesh Gupta, Arun Bamzai, Amar Singh and Gautam Dogra were also present on the occasion.
