JAMMU: Sat Sharma, MLA, Jammu West on Monday inaugurated the new premises of J&K Grameen Bank Bohri Patta, Jammu, amidst thunderous applause in presence of R.K Chhibber Chairman JKGB, Romesh Vaid, General Manager JKGB, Regional Manager, Jammu, K.L Sharma, officials of the bank and valuable customers.
While speaking on the occasion, Sat applauded the role played by J&K Grameen Bank in providing various financial services of the people of J and K. He also interacted with staff members and customers of the branch. He appreciated the tremendous efforts of the bank towards financial inclusion and customer awareness. He also congratulated the bank for the successful implementation of ongoing social security schemes of the present government.
Chairman, R.K Chhibber spoke about the ongoing J&K Grameen Bank Festival Bonanza – 2017 with a special offer of rebate in rate of interest of 0.5 per cent for two wheeler loans for females, no processing charges on car, housing and two wheeler loans. He added that the interest rates on loans and advances in JKGB are lowest amongst other banks. He further informed that JKGB is successfully conducting State wide campaign regarding GOI’s social security schemes including APY, PMJJBY & PMSBY and claims 100 percent settlement in PMJJBY and PMSBY. Bank is about to introduce Micro ATMs, AePS and KYC, he added. During the event, the lump sum amount of Rs 2 lakh regarding PMJJBY claim is also handed over to the nominee of the insurer, Rimpy Devi by the Chief Guest.
