STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: To encourage the youth, who actively participate in Krishan Janamashtami celebration and other social activities aimed at reforming society, Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SSDS), Jammu on Sunday felicitated 35 social and religious organisations at a function held here at Geeta Bhawan, Parade. On the occasion, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, Arvind Kotwal was the Chief Guest. He appreciated the efforts of Sanatan Dharam Sabha for organising the programme on Krishan Janamashtami and also threw light on the life of Bhagwan Krishna. Bodh Raj Sharma, President Shri Sanatan Dharam Sabha lauded the efforts of all social and religious organisations to make Krishan Janamashtami Shobha Yatra 2018 a grand success. After motivational lecture session, trophies / momentous of appreciation were presented to the social and religious organisations who actively participated in the Krishan Janamashtami Shobha Yatra and presenting Jhankis in a traditional manner. Sunil Sharma of Akhil Bhartiya Dharam Prachar Sewa Samiti, Jammu Kashmir was felicitated for his excellent service in the field of social and religious service including Krishan Janamashtami Shobha Yatra. In the last, General Secretary of the Sabha presented vote of thanks. Among others who were present on the occasion include Jagdish Sharma, Bodh Raj Sharma, Satpal Singh Rathore, Sat Paul, Ajay Kumar and Gulshan Mahajan.
