JAMMU: S.D Rohmetra Chittu Editor-in-Chief Daily Excelsior who on 6th of Feb 2012 has been restrained by the Hon’ble 2nd Additional Munsiff Magistrate, Jammu from publishing any defamatory statement against Raj Daluja disobeyed the Court and published defamatory statement against Raj Daluja. On this Contempt of Court proceedings were initiated through Advocate B.S Manhas against S.D Rohmetra and his sons Kamal Rohmetra and Neeraj Rohmetra in the Court of 2nd Additional Munsiff Magistrate.
S.D Rohmetra alias Chittu appealed before the 1st Additional Sessions Judge to stay the contempt proceedings initiated against him and his sons, but the Hon’ble Court neither stayed the contempt proceedings initiated against Rohmetras nor the order issued by the Hon’ble Court passed on 2nd of February 2012 restraining Rohmetras from publishing any defamatory statement against Raj Daluja which Rohmetra himself confirmed in his paper.
Despite all this S.D Rohmetra again published news against Raj Raluja on 16th of Feb 2012, which too has been brought in the knowledge of Hon’ble Court, Surprisingly, S.D Rohemtra alias Chittu now again published a false and defamatory statement in his paper dated 2nd of March misquoting SRO 98 dated 5th of April, 20015 and SRO 679. Rohmetra even failed to understand what licence of JKEL-8 and such kind of licences mean. S.D Rohmetra alias Chittu perhaps failed to understand meanings and language of the SROs perhaps being semi literate and quoted above SROs against Raj Daluja only out of sheer frustration and jealousy flouting Court orders.
The present publication of 2nd March is also being brought in the notice of Hon’ble Court as S.D Rohmetra alias Chittu is disobeying the Court time and again.
