STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Rotary Club Jammu in association with Sachdeva Netralaya organised a retina checkup camp in the premises of Gurdwara Sahib Main Road Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The camp was organised under the presidentship of Dr Anil K Amla, under Club’s flagship programme ‘Gift of Sight’. Dr Abishek Sachdeva of Sachdeva Netralaya examined more than 100 patients and referred some patients for specialised treatment in Sachdeva Netralaya. Sunil Kumar Sawhney, Project Director ‘Gift of Sight’ said that the club has pledged to eradicate cornea blindness free Jammu in association with Rotary Club of Hoshairpur Midtown. He also appealed to the GMC authorities to intimate the club the detail of such patients registered with them for cornea transplantation so that there cornea can be transplanted in phased manner. Prem Shanker, Gaurav Vaid, Harbans Singh, Ravi Kant Sharma, Dr Navneet Gupta, Aman Sharma, Sanjay Sachdeva, Deepak Baboo, Sushil Singhal, Rajat Singh, Kuldip Singh, Satpal Verma and Abhishek Sachdeva were also present.
