New York: Hollywood celebrities like Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, among others flocked the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to attend the 2015 Met Gala.
The singers were among those who shone on the red carpet of the event themed “China: Through the Looking Glass”.
Rihanna turned heads with her yellow Guo Pei fur dress which featured gold embroidery and a super long train. The “We Found Love” hitmaker sported gold embroidery headband on her new short haircut. She completed her look with matching accessories.
Gaga bared major cleavage in her black Alexander Wang gown which featured a black-and-white wide-sleeved, feathered, floor-length coat. The “Bad Romance” songstress wore black sharp eyebrows. She paired her black hair with a black studded headpiece.
Perry, meanwhile, rocked a totally different look with black pixie wig. The “Fireworks” singer flaunted her body in a strapless, trumpet-shaped graffiti gown by Moschino paired with matching long gloves. She completed her look with dark smokey make-up.
Other celebrities who glammed up on the red carpet included Beyonce Knowles, Madonna, Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Zendaya Coleman, Solange Knowles and Cara Delevingne.
Beyonce wore a nude coloured sheer dress. Madonna wore a black Rebel Heart gown with matching gloves. Miley donned a turtleneck gown with deep cutouts on the waist. Kim showed off her curvaceous figure in a sheer white dress with a long fur train.
Selena, meanwhile, rocked a figure-hugging, backless white gown paired with matching headband and red lips. Zendaya sported a plunging, black velvet bodice and red silk asymmetric skirt. Solange turned heads with her epic circle dress. Cara wore a black tight jumpsuit with fake floral tattoos covering her body.
Some couples who made their first appearance at Met Gala included George Clooney and his wife Amal, Robert Pattinson and FKA twigs, as well as Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello.
