STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: State President Jammu and Kashmir Milchar Front, Shamboo Nath Saproo on Wednesday appealed to the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to look into the heart burning demand of the poor watch and ward employees of BSNL of J&K state, as they have been deprived of their monthly wages for last 11 months where as the officers of the company are drawing their hefty amount of pay dues regularly. The poor watch & wards are at a point of coming on streets and begging if no action is taken urgently, he added. He also appealed to the Telecom Minister to personally intervene and redress the genuine grievances of these watch & ward employees’ of mobile towers of the site and immediately release 11 months’ salary of these watch & ward employees of BSNL towers and 8 months’ rent of the site of the Tower and ensure that the monthly charges to the watch and ward employees on this count are released on monthly basis on the pattern of all private companies, without any further delay.
