STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: Residents of Jakhani Mohalla came on the highway and held a protest against mismanagement of traffic police in controlling traffic at Jakhani Chowk in Udhampur. As per the details, local residents led by a social worker Sanjeev Sharma assembled at Jakhani Chowk and held a protest against the mismanagement of traffic police officials to mobilize hassle free vehicular movement on the road. Protestors raised slogans against the Dy. SP traffic for its failure to regulate smooth traffic on the road. Protestor alleged that police is not allowing the truckers towards Kashmir for reasons best known to them and drivers and cleaners of the stranded truckers uses to assemble on the road in groups which is serious matter of serious concern during this pandemic season. Sharma urged the local administration to take serious view of the issue and so that people can heave a sigh of relief and feel safe from any breakout of pandemic due to ongoing nuisance.
