STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Employees Joint Action Forum (EJAF) urged the government to release pending salaries in favour of all government employees, daily rated and consolidated workers before the Diwali Festival. In the meeting held here on Saturday, the forum members extended full support to the striking PDD employees who are struggling against the unbundling of Power Development Department. The employees’ leaders present in the meeting appealed to the workers and leaders of all the departments of J&K State to shun their differences and be united and come together on the broader platform to work wholeheartedly for the redressal of genuine demands pertaining to every section of employees. They urged the Governor to intervene personally and resolve the issue in favor of these striking employees. Prominent among who attended the meeting included Sushil Sudan, Ganesh Khajuria, Nazir Ahmad Bhat, Kartar Chand Dubey, Ashish Sharma, Manzoor, Sumit Sharma, Umesh Gupta, Anoop Singh, Surinder Kumar Bhat, Kirpal Singh and Shanti Saroop.
