UDHAMPUR: Raising the plight of farmers, President Panthers Kisaan Council (PKC) Sanjay Sharma demanded early release of land compensation to aggrieved farmers whose agriculture land has been acquired by the army.
While staging a strong protest at Slathia Chowk Udhampur against Govt and administration, PKC President warned the concerned authorities that if in coming days compensation is not be released they will launch mass agitation against authorities.
Sharma claimed that farmers being owners of thousands of Kanal of land, condition of their family has forced them to live like a beggar and their wards have become labourers due to non-payment of land compensation despite raising the issue many time with leaders and concerned officials of the government.
Lambasting the concern authorities, Sanjay said that they will never accept exploitation of farmers at any cost.
On this occasion Panthers Kisaan Council’s Rampal sharma disclosed that in coming days, committees will be constituted in every nook and corner of Udhampur.
Further PKC members, asked the authorities to early release land compensation otherwise they will be forced to agitate strongly against them. Large number of aggrieved farmers were present during the protest.
