STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Regional Director Survey & Land Records Udhampur, R.K Shavan on Saturday reviewed the project work of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP). The meeting was attended by Naib Tehsildars dealing with scanning work and also Dr R.K Singh Rana, Senior Consultant of RAMTeCH Software Solution Pvt. Ltd. Regional Head. It was intimated that around 6.5 lakh documents pertaining to District Udhampur have been scanned. The Naib Tehsildars and other officials dealing further intimated that 2.5 lakh documents have been checked by department to find is quality. The Regional Director impressed them to increase the double shift and also take up the matter with Financial Commissioner (Revenue) for procurement of machinery and requisite equipment. The Regional Director emphasized for accuracy and precision in the quality check. It is pertinent to mention that the Revenue Department is scanning the old records as per Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme and the government intends to complete it by mid 2019.
