RAMBAN: Taking a serious note by the enquiry committee of district administration on the complaint of misconduct and usages of filthy and unparliamentarily language and misuse of funds against Project Officer Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) seized official record of his office.
Committee headed by Project Officer(PO) ICDS, Ashok Kumar Pandita, District Treasury Officer, Chief Planning Officer and Tehsildar Ramban constituted by the ADC Ramban, Angrez Singh Rana who is also the District Vigilance Officer seized the whole record lying in the office of Project Officer IWMP Ramban here today particularly regarding the funds released and utilised in various projects.
The complaint was lodged by Parvez Ahemed son of Abdul Hamid resident of Maroog Panchyat Gram Tehsil and district Ramban before the Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Aijaz on 28th February against Project Officer, IWMP Ramban for his misconduct and usages of filthy and unparliamentarily language against complainant and threaten him that he would vanish him within fraction of second from the world.
Further complaint was marked by Deputy Commissioner to Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban with the direction to look into the complaint. While matter was telephonically discussed by the ADC with the Project Officer IWMP who stated that he has cleared all the bills by diverting the funds from other projects. However, he was asked to visit his office but he did not respond. Pertinent to mention that the diversion of funds is also the violation of the financial code as per the directions of the funds releasing authorities from time to time. PO, ICDS has been asked to enquire in to the whole matter and submit report within one month besides an explanation letter was also by the ADC served to the PO, IWMP in which he was directed to explain his position within five days.
