JAMMU: Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM) organised a Manav Ekta Samagam at Shri Guru Ravidass Mandir complex, Krishna Nagar, Jammu. The Samagam was presided over by Ajit Singh, Zonal In-charge Zone 1 Jammu Sant Nirankari Mandal. While speaking on the Samagam, Singh said that after God’s realisation, we operate at level of continuity that exists throughout in various forms of life and hence we see a common thread across all diversity.
“It is this understanding that drives the mission and the followers to perform actions that ensure peaceful co-existence and not be fanatics. The need is not to dwell in uniformity but to able to exist with diverse styles and bring synergy in what we do together. Each individual is unique as created by divinity, it would be against divine nature if we force individuals to think and do alike. We should be able to think differently and yet leverage the formless link to bring synergy and prosperity. God is merciful. He is like a wish fulfilling tree all knowing and all powerful. He is the embodiment of love, compassion, ever ready to help us. One may pray for others welfare but never for causing them harm, because thereby one may harm one’s own self. Our prayer can be fulfilled if we pray in all humility and have firm faith in God,” Singh said.
Sat Sharma, BJP State President and MLA Jammu West, was also present on the occasion. He complimented SNM for its socio economic activities such as blood donation camps and cleanliness drives. Peeran Ditta, President J and K Shri Guru Ravidass Sabha and several prominent citizens were also present during the samagam.
