JAMMU: Iron Rush Fitness Club in collaboration with Nutrition Heart organised Body Building Championship, here. Nahih Shah won the title of Junior Mr. J&K, Sandeep Verma bagged Senior Mr. J&K, Men’s Physique went to Raj Kumar and Mr. Iron Rush Classique 2017 was won by Mohd Arif Qureshi from Uttar Pradesh. The championship was started with lighting up lamps by Sham Chowdhary, Minister for PHE, Sat Sharma, State President BJP and Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Samba as also Chief Patron of the event.
Kavinder Gupta, Speaker, Legislative Assembly was the Chief Guest of the function.
Apart from the main four titles, best poser of the event was given to Devanshu Verma and most improved bodybuilder of the State was bagged by Aditya Kundal. The event was conducted under the guidelines of Indian Body Building and Fitness Federation (IBBFF).
Sunil Walia, Vice President, IBBFF and North India General Secretary Naveen Yadav were Chief Judges and Mukesh Yadav, Sheru and Haji Mohsin were supporting judges of the event.
A total of 310 participants out of which 120 came from outside the State participated in the championship.
Pushpinder Bharti, founder member of Iron Rush Classique and an only international bodybuilder of the State, managed the event. The event was sponsored by Sindh TMT Bar, Fashion Secret, Viva Fitness, J&K Bank, J and K Tourism Department, LIC of India, Trishul Chemicals, Vodafone, Optimum Nutrition and Absolute Nutrition. Prominent persons present in the event were Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra, Vishal Choudhary, Rajneesh Sharma (Chairman Iron Rush Classique 2017), Rajeev Charak, Ajay Pargal, Baldev, F.C Bhagat and Rahil Gupta.
