JAMMU: To recapitulate and reinforce the effects of yellow colour, Pushp Vatika-a unit of Shiksha Niketan on Wednesday celebrated Yellow Day.
Children were not only beautifully dressed in their favourite yellow dress but also brought yellow objects to make it a complete Yellow Day.
Tiffins were filled with bananas, mangoes, jelly etc and attractive yellow coloured toys like dolls, balls, balloons, flowers and masks made the learning environment.
Teachers were beaming with pride when the confident little commentators described the yellow objects with flair, expressiveness and ease.
The motive of celebrating this was to make the children aware of yellow colour, its significance and to develop fine motor skills in the students.
