RAMBAN: District Congress Committee Ramban organised a programme to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama Attack. The programme was organised at Committee Hall Ramban where Fairoz Khan, Former National President, NSUI, Ex CWC member, AICC member, District Congress President Ramban Farooq Katoch, Ex MLA Ashok Kumar Dogra, State President GBC Haji Mohd Yousuf, Vice President Ishaq Khandey, Abdul Raheem Bali, Pawan Singh, Mohd Iqbal katoch, Abdul Rasheed Katoch, Tariq Hafeez Tak, Mohd Rafiq Katoch and Naseer Wani paid tributes to martyr CRPF personnel.
Two minutes silence was also observed in the memory of martyrs and later floral tributes was paid to the martyrs by the above said leaders. While speaking on the occasion the Congress Leader and former NSUI president Fairoz khan said that the terrorism in any form is highly condemned. The incident where the brave soldiers who sacrifice their lives for the nation will always be remembered in the heart and mind of all people. Gopal Raina, Ranjeet Dogra, Zubair Katoch, Puran Singh, Rakesh, Kunjlal, Kartaar, Shubam Kumar, Jahangir Katoch, Usman Naik, Irfan Katoch, Masood Khan, Muneeb Rounyal, Ayaz Katoch, Akhil Rajput, Sajad koka and Rizwan Ishaq were also present.
DODA: The members of Thathri Development Front, District Doda, R.R. Manhas, Advocate Kanwar Jeet Singh Thakur, Layaqat Ali, Behari Lal Bhagat and Yog Raj Sharma strongly condemned the terror attack on CRPF Convoy and said that the country must respect and appreciate the role of the security forces in a highly emotional and challenging environment in Kashmir Valley. “The entire nation stands behind our security forces and the Government of India against terrorism” they said and added that the country is waiting for a befitting reply to those responsible for this cowardly attack.
RAJOURI: Showing anger against the horrific terror attack on CRPF Jawans in Pulwama district, BJP Rajouri leaders staged a massive anti-Pakistan demonstration and protest in Tehsil. During the demonstration people expressed their anguish and pain over terrorist attack. There was also outrage for IED blast in Nowshera in which one young Major sacrificed his life. While addressing the gathering senior BJP leader and MLC Vibodh Gupta lodged his protest against Pakistan and said that soon the ‘terrorist’s nation’ will be wiped out from the map of the world as it has been already isolated from other countries. He said that in support of India many powerful nation such as US, Saudi crown Prince, Iran and many others also lodged protest against Pakistan.”
He further said that military is given full freedom and ‘Bure Din’ for Pakistan has ushered in as army has vowed to avenge their brother’s sacrifices. “During the hours of pain the entire nation stands by Indian Army”, he added. MLC strongly asserted that the sacrifice of soldiers will not go in vain and befitting response will be delivered to Pakistan and their friends in Kashmir. BJP District President Dinesh Sharma, Vijay Gupta, Kamal Gupta, Naresh Bakshi, Koushal Gupta, Kawel Sharma, Babu Ram Sharma, Bodh Raj, Sanjay Sharma, Ashwani Koccher, Sharief Manhas, Lal Singh, Zahid Ahmed, Dr. Makhan, Vacky Dutta, Radish Gupta, Chain Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Ajay Raina, Azeem, Deepak Kumar and Khadem Hussain were also present.
NOWSHERA: To express solidarity with martyrs family and Union Government, people of Nowshera gathered at Gujral Chowk and chanted slogans of Bharat Mata ki Jai, Indian Army Zindabad, The protest was held under the chairmanship of Pardeep Sharma a renowned social worker of area and Head of UPPF NGO. While addressing a large gathering, Pardeep Sharma said that these protests are the expression of solidarity and full support to the dynamic leadership of the country. He said that whole country is anguished over the barbaric attack of Pakistan. Darshan Lal, Rajesh Gupta, Hettu Mahajan, Social worker Vinod Sharma and Dr. Buvneshwer Sharma were also present on the occasion. Meanwhile, Samba, Akhnoor, also witnesses shutdown and protests on the third day.
