STATE TIMES NEWS UDHAMPUR: A mushroom growth unit was set up and denoted to the family of one Permi Devi widow of Parkash Nath residence of Mada Ward No. 07 Chenani, district Udhampur by Mukesh Kumar, Dy. SP PTTI Vijaypur under the supervision of Ashok Kumar, SSP Principal Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur. Earlier the officer while deployed for law and order duty at Chenani, district Udhampur with the cooperation of Santosh Raj, SDPO Chenani, Roop Lal Sharma, AC 43 Bn. SSB camp Chenani, SHO Chenani Inspr. Paramjeet Singh and help of PTTI Nafri had also constructed the residential house of the above lady which was damaged during the last rainy season, as the lady alongwith her four minor kids were residing in a Kachha room a very miserable condition. J&K Police in order to help the poor family, on self help basis have repaired /constructed the room measuring 20’x18′ and covered the roof with CGI Sheets. Not only this, J&K Police had also established a mushroom growth unit for the poor lady so that they can earn bread from themselves. The family and the Local of Village Mada appreciated the efforts made by J&K Police.
