STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: Prof Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu and Arvind Karwani, Additional CEO, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board delivered lectures in the ongoing UGC-National General Orientation course for University and college teachers at the University of Jammu. The course is being organised by the University of Jammu’s Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) in collaboration with the Department of Sanskrit and is being attended by a number of University and College teachers, from both within and outside the State. While Prof Aima Spoke on the topic ‘Excellence -a myth or reality’, Karwani gave an overview about working and administration of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and its allied institutions. The resource persons also took questions and answered all queries of participating teachers during the interactive session. Earlier, the visiting dignitaries were welcomed by Prof Rahul Gupta Director HRDC, Prof Ram Bahadur Shukla HoD Sanskrit and Ranjeet Kalra from HRDC. The UGC course that commenced on July 2, 2019 was inaugurated by Prof Rajni Dhingra, Dean Research Studies, University of Jammu.
