Despite having been humiliated and almost dumped by a regional party PDP, after 10 months of misadventure, the BJP refuses to reconcile with the fact of remaining out of power corridors anymore. Overtly and covertly, feelers are being sent and stories planted about a possible tie up with National Conference, which too has snubbed it publicly by saying its doors stand closed for the saffron party.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for a national party to project itself as a ready-cushion to such of the regional parties of Kashmir, which it fought tooth and nail during all previous elections, just for a few loaves of power?
