Literally, with a single stroke of pen, Governor N N Vohra made it a possible to clear whopping Rs 2,500 crore GP Fund claims of the employees of Jammu and Kashmir Government, including Rs 125 crore disbursed in a single day, thus bringing cheer on their faces, which the popular government had been apparently denying. Similarly, several other decisions of larger consequence were taken in just few days of the current dispensation, which craved for attention during the so-called democratically elected government.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for elected representatives to create obstacles in smooth functioning of the government institutions and inflict harassment to people for their only sin of having voted them to power?
