The surprise meeting between the National Security Advisors of India and Pakistan must have come as a rude shock to the votaries of Indo-Pak dialogue in Kashmir, who either used to be claimants of facilitating such engagements between the two countries in the past or insisting to do so despite hostilities on borders. The talks also deflate the balloon of separatists who kept dictating terms for the agenda whenever reports of any peace-process surfaced in the media.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the proponents of Indo-Pak dialogue in Kashmir to overstep their jurisdiction by advising the nation on foreign affairs-this being none of their domains?
