It can happen only in India. Kashmir’s Mirwaiz Umar seems to have assumed the role of Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson and that too in the Valley. He has made a revelation to media about Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s agenda during his forthcoming visit to the US. He says Sharif will raise the Kashmir issue with President Barack Obama when he meets him on Thursday. He has also regretted over the Indian Government rejecting Sharif’s four-point solution, which he unfolded during his speech at the UN.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the NDA Government, which day in and day out kept castigating its predecessors for being soft towards Kashmiri secessionists, to provide license to them to bash India at every forum?
