What an irony! In a state of dilemma, the Kashmiri secessionists do not hesitate in invoking Constitution even though they denounce it day in and day out. Soon after putting Shabir Shah under house arrest, his so-called Democratic Freedom Party has termed the police action as autocratic and unconstitutional. It has also ‘condemned’ the action as ‘undemocratic’.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for secessionists to challenge the Indian institutions and its laws with contempt despite availing of privileges and concessions, and invoke the very same constitutional provisos when law takes its course against them for their unlawful activities?
