JAMMU: As a precursor to the Independence Day celebrations, the Tiger Division organised a Band Display and special Light and Sound Show at Balidan Stambh here.
The event was open to public and was heavily subscribed to on the occasion. The spectators were enthralled with the synchronised display by four pipe bands of the Indian Army who played scintillating martial tunes.
The Light and Sound Show was witnessed by a large fraternity of Jammu including students from many schools and the Jammu University.
The Tiger Division organised the event in true military elan, paying befitting tribute to the heroism of fallen comrades reminiscing a saga of unparalleled valour and gallant acts of our soldiers while safeguarding the frontiers of Jammu and Kashmir.
The audience remained captivated by the commentary and laser lights highlighting the eternal flame and 60m high tower symbolizing a bayoneted rifle. The show generated an atmosphere of pride, patriotism and fortitude.
