KATRA: An impressive Prabhat Pheri was taken out on the fifth day of Navratra Festival, Katra from Bus Stand, Katra.
Hundreds of devotees from Katra and other places joined the ‘Prabhat Pheri’ and were singing Bhajans and dancing to the tunes of drum beats enroute. The local people in area welcomed and greeted the Prabhat Pheri Committee members.
Earlier Chief Guest Ashok Choudhary SDM Katra flagged off the Prabhat Pheri in presence of senior citizen Babu Ram Dubey by cutting the red ribbon and breaking the green coconut.
Maharashtrian devotees under the leadership of Neelkhand Shinde participated in the Prabhat Pheri and this group was honoured by Chief Guest Ashok Choudhary with Navaratra Festival memento.
Groups of Regional Outreach Bureau comprising of Rajsthan, Gujarat and J&K devotees participated in large numbers in the Parbhat Pheri under the leadership of Durga Parshad.
Ajay Sharma, Aman Mahajan, Karan Gupta, Daleep Padha, Raj Kumar Dubey, Ramnik Nawada, Baldev Kumar, Renue Dhar, Vimal Sharma, P.N Kaul, Tilak Raj and Sahil Kumar were also present.
