SRINAGAR: Police claimed to have solve burglary case and recovered stolen mobiles and accessories.
According to a report, one Imran Ashraf Reshi, son of Ashraf Reshi, resident of Safapora lodged a written complaint at Police Station Safapora that during the intervening night of September 1/2, 2017, some unknown persons had stolen mobiles and accessories from his shop by breaking the backside wall.
On receipt of the complaint, a case FIR No 31/2017 under Section 379 RPC was registered in Police Station Safapora and investigation taken up. SSP Ganderbal, Fayaz Ahmad Lone constituted a special team under the supervision of DySP Ganderbal Dr. Rameez Raja led by SHO Safapora, SI Mudasir Zaroo.
During the course of investigation, one suspect namely Shabir Ahmad Dar, resident of Saderkot Bala was rounded up and questioned. During questioning, he confessed that he along with Hilal Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Mohammad Mir, resident of Safapora committed the theft.
On the disclosure of both arrested persons, a total of 19 mobiles, 58 headphones, 20 mobile chargers and accessories were recovered from their houses in Safapora and Saderkot Bala.
