STATE TIMES NEWS JAMMU: The Indefinite chain Dharna launched by the SOS International, an organisation for PoK Displaced Persons, entered the 17th day here on Saturday. The indefinite Dharna was held under the chairmanship of Rajiv Chuni. Led by Rajesh Suri, Capt Tirath Singh, Pritpal Singh, Harnam Singh, Sansar Chand and Gurbachan Singh sat on chain Dharna. Suri alleged “We people choose the law makers and send them to Assembly and Parliament to frame rules/laws for the welfare of common people but to our dismay these law makers have closed their eyes and ears for we people are struggling on the roads for demands under constitutional rights but they have not walked even an inch to address our grievances.” Suri said that these MLAs and MPs never discussed the issue of PoK Displaced Persons in the Assembly or Parliament as they have their own axe to grind which shows that justice has not only been delayed but denied also. Suri warned the government to mend its way and sit across the table for negotiations with team SOS International for full and final settlement of their legitimate demands.
