ARNIA: Carrying forward drive under Corporate Social Responsibilities, Punjab National Bank organised an event under PNB Laadli Scheme at Govt. Middle School Allah (Arnia), Jammu. In the said function, 20 needy girl students were adopted by the bank and school bags, stationary items and financial assistance were distributed on the spot. Besides students, a large number of villagers including Sarpanch participated in the function. Bikram Singh Raina, Circle Head, J&K Circle while speaking on the occasion apprised the gathering of the various CSR initiatives by the bank and also threw light on the salient features of PNB Laadli Scheme. He also informed that such facilities shall be provided to students of other schools in the State also. Subash Chander, Chief Manager ,Circle Office Jammu gave details of various banking products and services relevant to the public in general and rural inhabitants in particular and various Social Security Schemes launched by government. . The Principal of the School, Jagdish Raj and the Principal of Higher Secondary School , Ashok Chopra appreciated the role of the Punjab National Bank for rendering assistance to the deserving girl students in this border. Ashwani Behara , Branch Head Arnia presented the vote of thanks.
