Dear Editor, Pakistan’s evil designs are reflective in allowing only Sikhs to visit the Kartarpur shrine in the first instance, but later retracting following strong Indian objection to limiting it to only one religion. The little diplomatic efforts as part of government strategy may not be effective enough. If at all, very few in Punjab are takers of ‘referendum 2020’. It is only the minuscule overseas Pakistan-funded elements and their leaders who need to be alienated from mainstream effectively through a religious and diplomatic time-bound strategy. A strongly-worded diplomatic message should reach Pakistan that no one should play the Sikh religious card and that there is zero tolerance to terrorism. Anil Vinayak, Amritsar.
